We’re a group of colleagues with well over 100 years of combined experience working in the field of Indigenous Relations. We've come together to share our perspectives, knowledge, stories, and experiences with Canadians who want to take action toward reconciliation.

We’re inviting you to join us in our free Perspectives series as we explore some common questions we’ve heard from Canadians seeking to understand more about Indigenous interests and reconciliation.

Check out our videos below and contact us to arrange a custom workshop for your group today.

In this session, Steve Francis & Annie Korver discuss the concept of Indigenous Ways of Knowing, Teneya Gwin & Art Cunningham review terminology related to Indigenous Peoples in Canada and share their own views on the words we use, and Anne Harding offers a glimpse into a more complete version of Canadian history.

If you enjoy this video (8 minute intro + 20 minute video), we hope you'll invite us to join you on your reconciliation learning journey.

Please get in touch to learn more.

Our other videos include…

6 minute intro + 9 minute video with Steve, Art, Teneya & Anne

7 minute intro + 15 minute video with Art, Teneya, Steve & Anne

Through Anne’s work, in Indigenous Relations she is connected to a number of different people and communities.

We invite you to visit their websites to learn more about the work they do, and please feel free to reach out to Anne if you’re looking to connect.

Anne co-facilitates the Resource Development and Indigenous Communities module in this four day certificate program through the University of Calgary’s Native Centre.

Anne feels honoured to be co-facilitating with a longtime mentor of hers, Art Cunningham, who is a leader in Alberta’s Métis community and worked for over 30 years in Indigenous Relations in the energy sector. Click here to learn more about Art and his company, Rountable Consulting.

INDIGENOUS GATHERING PLACE (IGP) SOCIETY OF CALGARY

Anne has volunteered with the IGP since she was invited to help out in 2016. Anne has previously led the Community Engagement sub-committee and is now an elected Board member, serving as Vice Chair. She is honoured to be helping create meaningful and accessible opportunities for the IGP to engage with grassroots Indigenous community members in and around the city of Calgary. Anne feels humbled to be working alongside strong urban Indigenous leaders who are passionate about the need for a physical space in Calgary where Indigenous and all peoples can gather to experience culture, ceremony, and relationship.
